USA Funds Unlock the Future

USA Funds® Unlock the Future® introduces middle school students and their families to the many educational options available to them through these free, easy-to-use presentations.

USA Funds Unlock the Future enables middle school students and their families to understand the benefits of postsecondary education, as well as how to plan academically and financially for higher education. The curriculum is built around a video that follows a 15-year-old girl, the challenges she and her family face, and how the girl comes to value her future.

The complete USA Funds Unlock the Future kit comes with a meeting-planning guide that makes it easy to plan, prepare and facilitate this program. The kit also provides workbooks, pens and other items to encourage students to continue to think about and plan for their futures.

USA Funds Unlock the Future is available without charge to:

  • Schools, community and faith-based organizations, with priority consideration given to:
    • Programs in Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada and Wyoming.
    • Programs connected with minority-serving institutions.
  • Local, state and national educational organizations that help prepare students and families for postsecondary education.
