USA Funds Consejos

USA Funds® Consejos provides Latino middle school students and their families more complete information about the value of a postsecondary education, the education options available to them, and the availability of financial aid. The program is free and customizable.

USA Funds Consejos presents the story of brothers Robbie and David Chavez and their family, as they plan for their future, in a telenovela format. Their experiences shared on the 40-minute DVD provide a springboard for discussion and activities designed to help students along the path to a postsecondary education.

USA Funds Consejos is available without charge to:

  • Schools, community and faith-based organizations, with priority consideration given to:
    • Programs in Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, Texas and Wyoming.
    • Programs connected with minority-serving institutions.
